A second call for proposals for short research projects aimed at improving farmed fish welfare in Asia has been launched. As with the first call, there are two streams of funding: Firstly for practical projects focusing on welfare during harvesting, transport, temporary holding and slaughter. The second stream focuses on methods for communicating welfare issues and engaging with all stakeholders. The deadline for applications is the 29th February 2024.
