The group welcomed Steve Moran co founder of one of East Africa’s largest commercial tilapia farms to the Institute 12 March 2020. Steve took part in MSc students advanced modules with Professor Dave Little and John Bostock and also later gave presentation to the staff and students on :

"Victory Farms: Experiences of Commercial African Aquaculture"

Steve is the co founder and Chief Aquaculture Officer for Victory Farms - a major commercial tilapia farm in Lake Victoria, Kenya https://www.victoryfarmskenya.com/ . He was previously Manager of Tropo Farms in Lake Volta, Ghana, has also worked as a private aquaculture consultant, and graduated many moons ago .... from Kings College London.

We welcome him to the institute . Victory Farms have our Masters alumni now working there and we look forward to continuing collaborating in applied research and development with Steve and his colleagues
