John Bostock attended the Annual Meeting of the European Aquaculture Technology & Innovation Platform in Brussles in June, representing the Institute of Aquaculture and making a presentation on Skills and Career Development . This drew on his involvement in the EU DG Mare Expert Group on Skills and Career Development in the Blue Economy and specifically highlighted activities of the BlueEDU, EURATIP and AQUAEXCEL2020 projects. The European Aquaculture & Technology Innovation Platform (EATIP) is an international non-profit association that brings together all members of the aquaculture value chain, interested researchers, policy and regulatory agencies and representative organisations. It also acts as a linking hub for other national, regional and industry stakeholder platforms with similar aims of developing supporting and promoting aquaculture innovation.
