Stirling hosted a meeting for partners from the EU Horizon 2020 PrimeFish project last week at the Stirling Court Hotel. The project is examining the competitiveness of key European aquaculture and fisheries products with the long term aim of developing a decision support tools for industry and policy organisations. Two out of the three days focused on Workpackage 3 (understanding value chains) whilst the third day focused on Workpackage 2 (Economic performance of selected aquaculture and fisheries products). Staff involved from the Institute of Aquaculture Sustainable Aquaculture Research Group were Francis Murray (Workpackage 3 leader), Dimitar Taskov (PhD Student on the project) and John Bostock.
