 Björn Kok is working on global environmental assessment of aquaculture products from a food systems and value chain perspective. In this PhD research he aims to improve our understanding of the environmental impact of aquaculture products by developing environmental assessment methods for the full value chain.

Björn previously completed a BSc in Aquatic Ecotechnology from HZ-University of Applied Sciences and a MSc in Sustainable Development from Utrecht University. His main research interests are sustainable aquaculture value chains and sustainability trade-offs.
