The presentations stimulated considerable discussion since the concept of fish welfare was new to many in the audience. Fish health management on the other hand is a hot topic due to the range and prevelance of disease issues affecting farms. Overall the presentations and discussions gave all participants some useful new ideas and understanding to apply in their work or studies.
