MSc Scholars: Learning about fish welfare
In the following video, our Asian MSc Scholars, Nghia and Arnan share how their knowledge is changing after coming to Stirling and starting their studies on the MSc in Aquatic Pathobiology and MSc in Sustainable Aquaculture respectively.
The concept of fish welfare has been given much less attention in Thailand and Vietnam, so for Nghia and Arnan it is something of a culture shock to learn about the many aspects of welfare that are under research and how aquaculture enterprises are implementing better welfare practices. They are keen to participate in the research themselves and share their learning with colleagues and organisations in their own countries.
