The EC FP7 funded PAPUSSA project (2003-2006) showcased the status and future potential for periurban aquaculture (often recycling waste water and nutrients) in 4 SE Asian cities. This multidisciplinary project produced a range of publications videos and outputs on edible aquatic plant and fish production and associated value chains producing food and providing employment for millions of Thai, Vietnamese and Khmer citizens.
