Professor Dave Little of the Sustainable Aquaculture Group    attended this three day meeting at the European Parliament Brussels 8-10th November 2016. This initiative has been set up as scientific expertise has an important role to playwhen informing policy makers dealing with global challenges from feeding the world to to an ageing population and energy security. These series of meetings are setting the agenda and a framework  towards ensuring that policy making is qualified and up to date scientific advice being effectively integrated into the decision making process.
